Maths | Maths buddy

Image result for Maths buddyToday for maths buddy I completed a task called Observed and Expected Frequencies. It is all about statistics/chance. You have to have over 80% to be able to go onto the next task. These questions are very easy I bet an 8 year old can figure it out as well. I hope you come across this task so you can figure it out as well.

Figure it out

This week for maths rotation Riley and I did figure it out. We have to do activities Riley and I pick the "Rock, paper, scissors possibility."

How to play

1. play rock, paper, scissors
2. while you play with your partner record on a piece of paper how many times they put down rock, paper or scissors.
3.Write down on your piece of paper what was the possibility of your friend putting down a rock, paper or scissors.

This is a great possibility game that you can play with your friends or family. I hope you play this because it is educational and full of fun.

Here are our results

Riley- 6/paper 1/scissors 3/rock add it all up you get 10 points

Taylor- 2/paper 6/scissors 2/rock add it all up you get 10 points add 10+10=20 points.

This week for figure it out I did a worksheet called "Find a pattern". What you have to do you may ask, you have to find the pattern in the number and write it in, here is an example:

Madison has started collecting football cards. On Tuesday she collected 2 cards and on Wednesday she received 4 cards, while on Thursday she collected 8 cards. If she continues at this rate, how long will it be before she has over 100 cards?
